Context
UNFPA (United Nations Population Fund) wishes to raise awareness on bodily autonomy during the Generation Equality Forum in Paris in July 2021, and asked Dysturb to come up with a creative concept to produce an outdoor activation.
Our Action
Dysturb Creative Studio designed a mural-sized art installation on bodily autonomy titled “My Body is my Own”, installed Quai de Valmy along the Canal St-Martin in the heart of Paris. It features artwork from Hülya Özdemir, Kaisei Nanke, and Rebeka Artim. This mural was inaugurated in the presence of UNFPA’s executive director, Dr Nathalie Kanem. Additionally, 2,000 posters were displayed throughout Paris ahead of the Forum.
